i'm disappointed and saddened to say i would not recommend doing shamanic work or seeking spiritual guidance from marie. after months of developing (what i thought was) a sense of mutual trust, she completely turned on me based on what her spirit guides and pendulum told her rather than truly listening to/understanding what i had to say about deeply personal & traumatic events. it was only until after i sought perspectives elsewhere that i realized she had broken multiple codes of ethics and put me in great psychological distress; chief among those telling me that i "cannot seek guidance from my therapist because she will think that i am crazy, increase my medication, and i will bring her into my darkness."

marie gave me an ultimatum and stated she would not work with me until i had complied with what she had told me to do in terms of processing my own grief, and asserted that i brought a deceased friend down from heaven and that he was still suffering because i could not let him go. i felt like i was a child in trouble. i believed her and was incredibly distraught, and felt like i had absolutely nowhere to turn because she told me it'd be wrong of me to speak to my therapist about this. i was left confused, hurt, (wrongly) ashamed, and abandoned. this is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate behavior.

i firmly believe that any trustworthy spiritual teacher should maintain a strong code of ethics in which they guide and suggest solutions. i feel that marie attempted to mold me to her will. if anyone tells you that you should not seek professional help in any capacity, that is an immediate red flag and you...

I met Mel and Marie the other day and what a lovely beautiful couple . I felt like I was connected to them almost immediately. We shared stories, when they met and Marie's journey to owning this awesome store . She is truly a gift , her calming nature and genuine presence made my afternoon. I was there for a singing bowl . Wasnt sure about purchasing and she said she would hold it for me for 2 weeks. Just a cool.place . As we sat and talked one of their cats carried her baby by the front door.
