Food was great! Fish was so fresh. I had the gar and the swai fillet. It was cooked perfectly: not overcooked, nice and crispy with a flaky soft meat texture. I had it two days in a row: first time was a little salty, but second time was perfect. Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The owner had a great personality and definitely left a positive impression on my family and I. That’s why we returned, plus the food was good. I don’t eat catfish, and I wish there were more options like red snapper or gaspergou. I know catfish is king in Louisiana, so I was happy with the options of gar and swai, but I do wish there were other options. I will definitely return for more when I am back in town.
