In-store employee was rude with me after I had a table I bought from another Farmers Home furniture store in Mobile, AL delivered to Monroeville, AL location because it was closer to my home in Jackson, AL which is a lil over 30 miles from Monroeville, AL. I had planned on arranging to have it delivered to my home and assembled for a cost of $120. I was told by the store in Mobile that I would receive a call when the table arrived in Monroeville and during that call I could pay over the phone for my delivery and assembly.(Later found out I was lied to about this)🤦🏾‍♀️ I received the call that my table had arrived but as soon as I asked about having it delivered the employee instantly became rude and responded that “Mobile store could have delivered it as they were closer” (not true)🤦🏾‍♀️ and “her delivery guys were busy” and it would be another week and a half before they could delivery it. They basically wanted me to pick up and assemble my table myself to be rid of me. The employee ended up hanging up on me and I called back and was transferred to the regional manager. The regional manager apologized for the rude employee and informed me that the delivery could be made but it would be a week out and she also informed me that the delivery fee could not be paid over the phone; it was cash only and must be paid in-store. So I would have to drive over to Monroeville from Jackson 30+ miles and pay to have my table delivered and assembled😐. If I have to drive over there I may as well pick up the table myself. So long story short… I’m arranging to pay $35 for assembly when I get there and I have to get someone with a truck to pick it up. I certainly will not be dealing with Farmers Home Furniture...

I purchased on 4/27. I was told that my furniture would have to be ordered AFTER I paid, so I patiently waited. When that date arrived, I had to call Farmer’s to see what time it would be out, only for them to tell me I had to wait until Friday. Friday came I called them again only for them to tell me my furniture was discontinued and they do not get trucks on Fridays and I had to wait again. When my furniture finally made it, the bed rails that I had to wait on was still not in so I noticed they drilled in 2x4’s as the railing and I did not receive my chest that came with my bedroom set.
