Aerohio Skydiving LLC — Local services in Montgomery Township

As a Pilot, former Skydiver and Air Traffic Controller I wanted to express how impressive of an operation AerOhio is. I have jumped (many years ago) with some operations that came across as shady or without the proper attention to safety or allowing some real nutcases to use their services. This is NOT what AerOhio is.

I had a long time friend who got to experience her first jump yesterday and I was VERY impressed by not only the quality of ALL their equipment (the plane, the canopies and harnesses...etc) but by their attitudes and attention to safety by not only their staff but also by ALL the other skydivers that went up together on that flight.

Her instructor was thorough and very professional while accommodating her desire to have us there to watch. We were invited into the hanger to watch her briefing and all the other skydivers who were preparing for a group jump practicing their exit procedures and formation maneuvers prior to the flight.

And every single person we saw and had the pleasure of meeting there seemed to be VERY stable and grounded (no pun intended) people from all walks of life enjoying something they all loved.

My friend was extremely impressed by how many jumpers checked not only her equipment with and for her repeatedly, but they all checked each others' gear. That's how it's supposed to be done, but I have seen that absent from other operations.

Thank you to the staff of AerOhio for making my friend's 1st experience a safe, quality and most enjoyable one. The photography you provided was absolutely amazing. I wish I could have had that level of production documenting my first jumps over 40 years ago. It was stunning and top quality. You captured the joy and the excitement of an experience that few have in a way that guarantees she will be back to learn more and pursue what I feel will be a new chapter of her life.

If you are even remotely considering taking that first jump or need a safe, quality ride to the top with a company that lives, eats and breathes skydiving, I have absolutely no doubt that AerOhio is THE Place to go no matter where you live.

There should be a rainbow overhead all year long that leads to this magical place.

I went with a friend on 8/25/18 to make my first AFF jump after putting this off for a very long time. The weather was cloudy and the plane was grounded because of it, but still completed the 7.5 hours in the classroom

Came out the following week to make my first jump and the weather was perfect. All of my instructors took the time to make sure that I remembered what we learned the week before and that I was 100% ready.

WE. HAD. A BLAST.

What was something that I thought I might do 2-3 times per year has become something that I think about every day.

The entire staff made this such an incredible experience for me that I am now pursuing becoming a licensed jumper myself, and am making plans to become an instructor as well. To share someone's first jump and make it memorable like my instructors did for me is something that I am looking forward to

It's a great community of people and my only regret is not doing it sooner, but hey. Can't change that and I've enjoyed the hell out of every second of...

I Recently went for my very first tandem jump with Aerohio.skydiving. Dereck my tandem buddie, was absolutely Amazing and very detailed, and explained everything. Yes, he did repeat himself. And that was awesome because in the moment you're not catching everything, but he was. He made sure I was suited up and snug went over everything again before we got on the plane, And again when I was on the plane, not only him but people sitting beside me and in front of me. Were all checking things, not just me but on each other. He was Very serious about what he was doing, but he kept the laughter going. I was very comfortable with him. And he made my first jump the best ever, I will definitely be back hopefully with a plane full of friends. Andrew, Who can forget about Andrew. The videos and the photos are priceless. You did an amazing job. I even got a fist bump while we were in the air. Such a phenomenal experience from both gentlemen, very professional. I hope we see each other Again real soon....
