Horrible experience with one of the owners and masquerading also as the register worker...I don’t carry cash only credit card much easier to cancel than cash. Having said that...this was truly horrible. Went to the first big building which is a giant converted chicken house and proceeded to go through each sellers units and finally made it to the register with only one item in hand as 99% of everything in the place looks like everything has been sitting for years waiting to be bought up, stuff you wouldn’t even purchase at a yard sale, anyway I asked the person running the register if they took more than cash and the reply was he only took cash so I said thanks and took my item back to the sellers unit that I had found it in..after that I proceeded to go to another smaller building which was just a smaller version of the giant chicken coup and when I walked into it low and behold to my left was an ATM machine...there were no signs at either building inside or out indicating that this service was available..so I went back to the register person in the first building and asked why he had not informed me of the ATM and his rude reply was again he only took cash? He stated that he does not inform anyone that there is an ATM. Not a very delightful experience. You have...
Read moreSpent several hours at this flea market recently and found some great things. Everyone was friendly and offered help. A few venders offered us lower prices than posted on the tags. Nothing seemed to be overpriced. I found some dishes that were priced very low; these exact same dishes cost 5 times more in a Chambersburg antique shop. We spent so much time in the main building we didn't make it to the second one before closing but we will be going back to check it out! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes...
Read moreThis flea market is huge even though it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. There is always a very nice mix of antiques, collectibles, nostalgia and many other different types of curiosities. The folks there are always very friendly and there is even a snack bar if you get hungry. There are always bargains to be found too and there really is way too much to see in just one visit so, I always plan to go back regularly. They only have port-a-potties for restrooms but that is better than none at all. I love this place and it is a nice scenic drive to...
