Skillman Farm Market and Butcher Shop — Local services in Montgomery Township

I absolutely love these guys. Ten weeks ago I decided to try an all beef diet including things like liver, kidney, heart and bone marrow because I have MS and I was only getting worse despite treatment with two biologics.

The skillman beef has completely changed my life. My vision is restored, my gait and balance are fine now. I have the energy to exercise again, no more aches, pains, cramps, spasms, brain fog, lethargy, or fatigue. In two weeks my improvements were so profound and pronounced my mom (who dislikes red meat) helped me place the deposit for half a steer. Even my libido is on the level of my teenage self. It's quite surreal. I'm capable of living life again. I've reclaimed my vitality by going ancestral with my diet. I've even managed to kick my nerve pain medication of three years and about a dozen supplements. My life is enjoyable again and I owe it all to Skillman Farm Market and butcher shop.

Terrible customer service! You place an order over the phone and you're told that you'll get a call back SOMETIME in the next day informing when you can pick up your order. Really unreliable and difficult to plan a meal around: "sometime," what does that mean? in the morning? in the afternoon? at 5pm? how can you plan a meal like this? I politely insisted on needing a more accurate time, and explained the reasons why that would be helpful. And the answer was: "sorry, butcher is too busy right now." Also, the quality of the meat is not that great to begin with...

Update: The owner of this store just called to harass me for having left this bad - but truthful - review. She accused me of lying in the review when I simply reported what happened. And no, I don't think their meat is very good. Apparently I am "BANNED" from this store because of my review. Is there anything else you need to know about the people running this place? Instead of listening calmly to criticism and working on improving their customer service upon reading a critical review, the approach is to call the customer to yell at him. Stay away...

Question : how long does your ground beef stay good for (Estimate of course ) after day of pick up . (Again not actual time due to variation) 1-2weeks I hope, in the fridge .

So my two cents about the service review people . U said “how can you plan a meal around the next day pick up “ .. that’s absolutely ridiculous, what do u do buy the food the same day you cook it ? Maybe you should plan around your schedule .. why would a company plan around you , sounds like you think the world revolves around you . I made my order 2 days before thanksgiving and it was ready that same day like 3-4 hours later and I bought 300$ worth of meats . Didn’t seem unfair , even if I had to wait till the next day .. I buy meats for 2 weeks out at a time and buy frozen for the longer haul . Beef doesn’t loose nutrition in the freezer . I didn’t see any issues going here , and I live an easy solid 1.15...
