Favorite Amish grocery store, pretty local too, takes us about 20 mins or so to get there. Fantastic prices on many, many pantry staples. Yes, they sell lots of items that are past the "best by" date on them but this does not make the goods bad. Those dates are legally required to be on them, but if you do your own research you will find that there are so many foods that you can use and eat well beyond that date quite safely.
