Morrow Point Dam is a fantastic spot to visit! The views are spectacular with dramatic rocky cliffs rising up from the river valley. The pedestrian bridge over the river gives you an amazing vantage point to take in the scenery and snap some great photos. The parking area is convenient and well-maintained, making it easy to access. It's a perfect stop for anyone wanting to stretch their legs and experience some of Colorado's impressive landscape.    Read moreThe Morrow Point Dam is at the base of the Mesa Creek Trail, and in all honesty, it is one of my favorite hikes in all of Colorado. It is simple, easy, has well established trails, and lots of trees for shade on hot sunny days, offers some great views, and is dog friendly. Really, what more could one ask for from a trail?
