If I could give Boyert's 6 stars, I would. Every single worker I encountered went above and beyond to answer my questions, help me find what I was looking for, and even load my items into my car. It's more pricey than the big box stores, but the service you get makes it WAY worth it. They had a huge variety of gorgeous, well-cared-for plants (and had the specific ones I was looking for!), and then helped guide me regarding where and when I can place them outside - one young man even went on a search of the grounds to find two hanging baskets that matched one another! (When I went to the big box store, the guy - who was actually very nice - working the outdoor area was "from the electrical department" and even though he tried, he couldn't offer any help.) My husband, son and I went for the first time without the school this year because it's been pleasant everytime we've gone. We paid $12 a person and in return got a hayride, a smallish pumpkin (because that's all they had this year except the really tiny ones), a self guided tour, an apple and a cup of cider. For the amount of money we paid for the experience, it was a mediocre time. There's really nothing against it or for it. While my son was on the playground he got all muddy so i asked if there was somewhere he could wash his hands. Well the woman i asked gave me a bit of an attitude when she said no. This business gets bigger every year. They have a large variety of indoor & outdoor plants on display now. They also have a nice selection of gift & deco items for the yard and home like wreaths. Novelty birdhouses, birdbaths, jardeniers in many sizes. Planting products & tools & fertilizers. Bulbs & plants for fall gardening. They are open year round & this is a fun place to visit & shop at Christmas. They carry fresh Pine roping & wreaths.
