Oak Summit LLC — Local services in Moorefield

I am not one to rant online but I feel people should be aware of the scam of a business that Oak Summit is running. A few weeks ago we bought a couch and loveseat set from them and later returned to see if they could order the matching recliner for the set. Here’s where it gets sketchy, my mom and I went in on a Saturday and the woman working looked it up and I could see the price on the screen of $339 but she said give me a few minutes and I’ll let you know what I can do for it, comes out and tells me a price of $795 (which is 134% profit), I return the following Wednesday and another woman is working and quotes me $595 (75% profit) At this point I’m furious in such a price difference and want to see if they change the price for a third time. My husband goes in 2 days later on Friday and the same woman from Wednesday that quoted me $595 now quotes my husband $695 (105% profit)! Needless to say I have not returned and took my business elsewhere. I am all for supporting small businesses and thought I was saving by staying local to my small town but I will NEVER buy another thing from Oak Summit ever again!

Blown away by how professional AND kind the staff is at Oak Summit ! As a Fenton glass collector , this company is the mecca for amazing quality glass and they go above and beyond to ensure the glass shipped is safe and packaged correctly !! Will be a future customer for sure , and would totally take a road trip into WV from Maryland just to attend an auction . They are funny and personable with everyone , online and in person .
