I have really mixed feelings about this place. We were walking around Moorseville on a beautiful day when we stopped by here , one in our party remembering the old store that was once on location. The guy was assisting a customer so I get he was focused, but seemed annoyed with the questions we had concerning the bikes. We were the only other customers present at the time. Once his business with the customer ahead of us was finished he did answer some materials and general bike questions but seemed to purposely put us off with exagerated prices. Meaning he made statements like this bike is blank amount of $ money but with such and such added it goes up to $$$ (did I mention I wanted that?) - I get it you can pay as much as you want, up to the price of a midsize car. Our inquires were based on genuine interest. Though we weren't expecting to arrive at a bike shop that day - we have previously been into the hobby/sport and would like to be so again. Biking in state parks near campgrounds and surrounding towns has been our thing , and currently a family member with diability would need an electric or electric assist to join us. This shop missed out on a 2-3 bike purchase by being irritated with our ignorance of current technologies and materials. That all said I absoluted loved the exterior and interior decor/ styling and positions of goods on display. The previous customer and the ones arriving after us were given attentive service. There were some really cool marvel comic themed and food themed riding gloves (pepperoni pizza and thanos gaunlet) on display with lots of other accesories. So I would say I received great info on nearby trails - and there are miles of them closeby, but maybe not the intro to the bikes themselves we...
Read moreThe place is located in the middle of nowhere. I called a day before to see if they wanted the bike carrier I had, and the guy said yes, bring it in and he'd buy it for so-n-so dollars. After driving 10 miles into the country to get there, he says he doesn't want it because It's not the style he wants. I had described it very well, including brand name, shape, size, color, and how and to what part of the bicycle it mounted. That's why he offered to pay the amount that he did. Very bad business to lure people to drive 20 miles out to the sticks and back...
Read moreJory has built two bikes for me and has serviced all of my family's bikes for 10 years now. He always carries quality brands at fair prices. He has always been understanding about my very detailed tendencies and goes out of his way to make sure I'm happy when I'm on two wheels.
If you're looking for a quick, one-off bike purchase with no plans to ever have it serviced, maybe look elsewhere. If you want a quality bike put together by a knowledgeable individual that will go out of his way to make sure you're happy, this...
