A great place for life music. They usually have a good selection of food vendors to the left of the seats as you face the stage. To the right you can find beer and other drinks. The walk from the parking lot is long so be prepared. They have staff on hand with golf carts to help people to the entrance. Traffic is jammed up for twenty minutes when the events finish. If you're in a hurry to get somewhere, you should leave the event before it's over. The seating numbers are a little whacky. They are numbered even on one side and odd on the other. The GA seating is on the sides with seating in middle. You can sit in the lawn and also bring a blanket with you. They also have GA sitting in the back but you're sitting on cement basically so I can get a little rough on back. I would definitely not recommend buying tickets in the front row as security is right on top of you. Once you attend a show at Bluestem, you want to attend EVERY show at Bluestem. The venue is incredible. You sit under the sky and the sun sets just behind the stage. It's open to the elements, so make sure you bring the right clothing.
As other reviews mention, the parking situation could be better, but that would never stop me from attending an event here.
In the summer, this is one of the best places in Fargo-Moorhead for music and theater. Just go!...
