Tri County PowerSports is a beautiful huge dealership. Multiple buildings that look brand new, though this business is well-established and has been around for quite a while. Absolutely overflowing with all kinds of new and used power sports vehicles and equipment. Multiple brands, models and styles of off-road fun to be had. Endless amounts of parts and apparel. Quite literally everything you could need. Taxi at Tri County PowerSports has been outstanding to deal with. I have purchased two new Hondas from him at this dealership in the last year. I live 500 miles away! Last November I found the last Honda CRF450RWE Works Edition dirt bike in the country at Tri County. I had been hunting one for months. These bikes were mostly all long gone. I contacted Tri County and found they had one. I made arrangements to come and buy it, cash. They were able to confirm that the bike was mine and my long trip would not be wasted. Taxi went as far to put a sold sign on the bike and send me pictures. Outstanding! The entire transaction could not have been easier. It also could not have gone better. There was a very helpful young lady in the finance office who was also a pleasure to deal with. I was in and out of there in a very reasonable amount of time. Then quickly on the way back home with my brand new, limited edition, factory built race bike. Stoked ! About 6 months later I decided to buy a street bike. A super sport bike to be exact. These are what I ride most of my life and I haven’t had one for a few years. Once again I called around to my local dealerships in the SF Bay Area, and though they had stock, I was unable to come to terms about financing. For one reason or another, my local dealerships were unable or unwilling to make it happen. Frankly, they were unmotivated and seemed uninterested. So I called my guy Taxi, and Tri County had the bike I wanted, a 2022 Honda CBR1000RR ABS. Tri County was also more than willing to get me financed as well. Once again I loaded up the truck and made the trek from The Bay to LA to get my bike. The next morning I was there when they opened and a few hours later, I was back on the road with my new bike. While I was there this time, I got to meet and interact with more of the staff. The same helpful young lady was there in the finance department. This time we had much more paperwork to do as I was financing this purchase and not buying it out right like my last bike. I also went to the parts department where I purchased a brand new helmet so I could test ride my bike after completing the acquisition. The three young guys over there were very cool and friendly. They were also very knowledgeable. Taxi asked them to give me a great discount on my helmet. I also met some of the guys in the service department and some others sales staff. All of whom were helping me get my bike ready, and even talking to me about being safe and smart with such a powerful new bike. They also helped me carefully load this brand new gem safely into my truck. Amazing! Now I will mention that my bike had some issues from the factory. Issues that ended up being repaired under manufacturer warranty. This required some further contact with Taxi and the dealership. Taxi could not have been more helpful. The issues have been resolved. At no cost to me. I cannot thank Taxi and the gang at Tri County PowerSports more. I have had two excellent experiences there in purchasing motorcycles, gear and even resolving some warranty issues. This gives my experience a broad scope of how this business operates and deals with things. Rest assured that Tri County PowerSports will take good care of you. That doesn’t mean to come in there like a bull in a china shop. Be easy, be cool. You’ve found what you’re looking for. Tri County PowerSports is an outstanding facility full of knowledgeable and friendly staff who want nothing more than to see you riding out of there happy, on the off-road vehicle of your choice! Definitely a 5 star operation. Thank you Taxi and thank you...
Read moreMy husband and I recently moved to a ranch and we need something to help us with all the work around the property. So we started the process of looking for a new quad or side by side. I owned a used car dealership for many years prior to becoming a mother 8 years ago, so I’m pretty good at spotting shady salesmen and I absolutely despise them . I called three different places prior to calling Tri County Powersports and each of them were such a turn off I would honestly have rather not bought anything than deal with them. I was about ready to decide we could live without one and we’ll just do everything by hand. Then I called Tri County Motorsports and it was a completely different experience. I spoke with their salesman, JJ, I almost don’t even want to call him a salesman; he’s not pushy and slimy at all like most salesmen. He was really helpful, didn’t try to trick me, didn’t try to upsell me and was not the slightest bit pushy. It was so refreshing. I later spoke with their sales manager over the phone and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, again not pushy at all. Then when I asked to go over the contract line by line he happily obliged and again didn’t try to trick me into things. When we arrived at their dealership I ended up not loving the ATV I had selected; totally not their fault, I just didn’t like the look of it in person. They were not rude about it, they didn’t try to push me on to something else. They just let me look around and were available if I needed help, but they weren’t pushy or hovering over us. I ended up falling in love with the appearance of a UTV that I knew nothing about that was also priced quite a bit higher than we had planned to spend. (UTVs cost more than ATVs) I asked about the features and the pros and cons of it and they told me them all factually. They weren’t trying to spin it any way, they gave me the honest facts. Then when we went to go over the costs etc not only did the price not go up; it went down from MSRP. They didn’t mark it up to mark it down, they actually had it marked down and they didn’t try to play any weird games. They didn’t try to tack on unexpected hidden fees. They didn’t do the whole wanting more down (or any for that matter) or changing interest rates on us, they gave us the option they told us over the phone as well as several other options. They didn’t try to force us to buy upgrades, or add ons we didn’t want. They offered them, but weren’t pushy. It was great. They gave us all the attention and support you’d want when buying a vehicle and none of the unnecessary stress that almost always comes with it. They were awesome! We will definitely be back and will be loud and proudly recommending them to everyone.
Oh and we purchased some parts that we will need their service department to install for us. I should mention what I’m having installed was not recommended by them, or even mentioned by them, so this wasn’t an upsell, this was them obliging when I had an uncommon request. I spoke with both their parts and service employees and they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
I have nothing bad to say about any part of the experience. It was great. They were...
Read moreI drove 3 hours to pick up what i thought was a great deal on a 2018 rzr turbo s. the staff it's self was very friendly and helpful, shop had a lot of very nice machines. the machine I brought home idled great and sounded great there. took it for a drive the next day and got roughly 30 minutes of it running right. it began misfiring to the point where I barely made it back to my friends house. checked and put new plugs and wires in with 0 improvement. the machine couldn't even move without dieing at this point it was missing so bad. let it sit over night and checked the valve lash which were all within spec. checked fuel pressure, also in spec, 0 codes thrown, swapped a new coil in, no improvement, pulled the pump to inspect, discovered very old fuel and the pump screen was disintegrating so I hooked up a transfer pump and completely drained and cleaned the tank. blew out all the lines and added new fuel. still 0 improvement, pulled the injectors and both were plugged 95 percent with who knows what. spent a good 30 minutes cleaning them and the fuel rail. put some new orings on and re installed and the machine fired right up and had full power for roughly 15 minutes of drive time to begin popping and mis firing again. pulled injectors to clean them again. now I have gotten probably 2 hours drive time, but have had to pull the injectors 8 times to clean them out.
I traded in a perfectly running harley that I had over 32k invested in on a 16k rzr just to owe 9k on a complete turd of a machine and have already had to spend almost a grand on new parts just to have the machine run for a short period of time before causing issues and running like crap. if I go full throttle the machine misfires and goes into limp mode
called tri county to be told that since I didn't purchase extra warranties I would have to drive 3 hours and pay 175$ an hour to "diagnose" it.
so I'm basically stuck dumping more money into this turd that had been nothing but an issue since I drove it off my trailer
i got this thing specifically to go have fun...
