Smoked fish (whitefish, lake trout, and sometimes menominee, and others), the smoked whitefish spread famous to the UP, cheese curds, jerky, snacks, and drinks. Great quality fish is smoked on sight and very reasonably priced. The lady who runs the shop is very friendly and helpful. They now do accept credit cards. Like most places up north they are open seasonally, I've been there in September, but don't know how late in the season they're open. Super impressed with the freshness and quality of meat! This trip was our first at tasting whitefish. We tried another place first, thought it was super good. However, on our way out of town, we wanted to stop and get more dip and another smoked fish. The place we had went to before was closed and we followed Google maps here. AND I AM SO GLAD WE DID! You have to go here if you like amazing beef jerky, i love beef jerky and this is the place that ive been looking for. And prices are reasonable, i also tried quail eggs for my first time thanks to this place and they are amazing as well I personally like the original/ mild quail eggs the jalapeño ones are a little too spicy for me and i like spicy, any way back to the beef jerky amazing and the lady that makes it/ owns it is also amazing.
