Oakshade Raceway — Local services in Morenci

This was my first time there because they were having the BOSS sprints there. The good is the ticket price that you don't raise for special events and the food is good with many stands. The bad is your total lack of rules for the fans which made them the most disrespectful fans I have been around since I was surrounded by NASCAR people. First you obviously have no cooler limits or stadium seat limits or a no smoking policy. The guy in the picture and his wife had a full size cooler setting on the seats in front of them so nobody could sit there and stadium seats sticking out in the isle behind them so nobody could sit there. That's 6 seats for two people that smoked non stop all night and there were plenty of people with those stadium seats and very large coolers not to mention nobody went down below to do there smoking. The people behind us came up after the sprint heats and put there cooler on my bench I was sitting on smoking and blowing it right between me and my son and drinking some strong something. When you have a big event with lots of people in the stands put some rules in place. Attica race way does not let you have coolers or stadium chairs at big events. I don't know what it's like there on a weekly show and there may be half as many people so it's not a big deal but I have no intention of going back. Just wanted to voice my opinion. Been going to oakshade for years. 20 years ago I was a racer. I was surprised to see a $2 raise in admission fees. After I get in to the track I am wondering why I am charged two more dollars and there is one third Les seating a whole section of grandstand missing. What am I getting for my two extra dollars. Owners of oakshade need to manage their money better nothing has changed facility is gotten worse. Public,! Do the math $14 a car Plus the food you buy when you're there which is expensive. The fees the racers have to pay. Other than electricity and a few people on payroll Maybe what the hell are you doing with your money? I wonder I don't see any Improvement instead of putting Stone in the parking lot you dug up some dirt from Outback to smooth the wet spots out what the hell. The approving in the facility is going to hell you do know improvements but yet charge more at the gate. 12 bucks was about it for me. 14 I know it's just $2 more it is not worth it to me anymore. Fix up your facility buy some paint do something. Don't make the public pay for your let down. Get the racetrack in shape the whole facility is an embarrassment I hope you take...

Great track to watch some dirt racing. They need to do updates and remove smoking in the stands for the sake of the children subjected to the unwanted smoke. Stamds arent very safe for children either. They raised prices but none of that is shown through improvements in the facility. The porta johns are always nasty and week to week do not look to be cleaned, other than being emptied. During a purchase of cheese fries, i witnessed an employee put the customers fork(handle)in her mouth then proceed to place said fork into the customers fries!!! He had to request a new fork!! Also had the grass in front of the track covered in trash last week.
