You learn to groom first and clean hooves before you ever hit the saddle. These fundamentals are so often overlooked but ground training is the basis for your relationship with your horse and Sherry knows it all. Then when you saddle and bridle your horse yourself (with supervision of course) Sherry will teach you each part of the equipment and what it's for. AMAZING!!!!!! Took my two year old here for her first ever lesson and she absolutely FELL IN LOVE. Staff and the owner is SO SWEET and KNOWLEDGEABLE. EXTREMELY affordable, well trained horses, very well kept farm, beautiful landscape, easy to access and not far from town.

DEFINITELY GO CHECK THEM OUT ASAP!!!! I will be returning with my daughter regularly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

The owner herself gave us the lesson. She was so patient, kind and educational. I was completely confident to let my daughter go off into the pasture with her and have a life changing experience riding the pony named Twinkie. Such a sweet pony too!

Love Peaceful Acres. My daughter had a field trip at another farm and wanted to do horse lessons. I googled ones closer to home and found this place. So glad we did. My 10 year old daughter has thrived since she started August 5th. She is now even volunteering here. Seeing her giving back by her choice and not expecting anything in return, but getting so much joy from just helping is the purpose and she’s seeing that at this young age. Thank you to Sherry and the other trainers for their hard work on this property. The horses are well taken care of. The lessons are well done.
