At the end of my shopping experience I decided against some items that I couldn't find the missing pieces for it I just decided not to get the items after all and returned what I didn't want back to the bins. Before I could do a rough calculation in my head of the purchases I was wanting to keep/buy the cashier yelled at me saying "now (she) would have to throw those (things I returned to the bins) in the trash. And "how dare (I) make it where other consumers couldn't have the option of buying the items". As if I didn't have the privilege to change my mind on a purchase.. she spoke to me in a way that was very degrading and embarrassing.. and then proceeded to tell me I was banned from the store. Banned? For deciding against purchasing items that were broken and missing pieces... Banned for being a customer with items in my cart that I was paying for and some items I chose against.. banned from Bin 5 because she had to throw away the junk that's left at the 3nd of their weekly run that's been rummaged through by hundreds of people. And the worst part is they put my picture up with all the people that were caught stealing and tagged it banned... So anyone seeing my picture would think I was banned bc they caught me trying to steal. Which is slander. And it's a criminal act. I wish I would have pursued that law suit. I will continue to pray for this lady who obviously has a sickness...

Also big lots will be moving soon to the rural king shipping plaza off of burkemont avenue sometime in the near future for they are renovating the old ingles grocery store for big lots needs. More businesses need to move over this way only thing holding it together right now is the great food lion they have here bath and body works as well as big lots and chens garden. However I do not see a short term resolution to revive the shopping plaza for I am in the business to hear and kniw what is and going to happen with businesses and such...
Read moreThat's poor dead little shopping center 🛒 I've lived in the area around 12 years and fiddlers run always seemed to be a little abandoned area, but there were good stores, big lots, dollar tree, bath & body, a Chinese place. It was a good place to do some shopping and get Chinese food.
Now it's literally a ghost town shopping center.
They really need to open some stores here! I personally recommend a Krispy Kreme put a location here, since we can't get Krispy Kreme doughnuts anywhere besides hickory it would draw enough business that other businesses would have a chance to make it!
Town of Morganton! Request a Krispy Kreme...
