This sweetly eccentric little spot is right near the beautiful bicycle trail; you can get everything from PA cheese curds, to ice cream, to used books, to coffee. The owners focus on offering local PA souvenirs and PA food, and this dedication to supporting local is excellent. We ordered pizza by the slice (pleasing and hot) and a mug of coffee. They sweetly honored our requests to reduce paper and plastic waste, and brought us our food and drink in pottery plates and mugs. My only little complaint was that my purchase of some white chocolate made-in-PA "stumps" (pretzels with caramel coated in chocolate) had perhaps been on the shelf for a while and were a bit stale, but this did not in the least sully my overall experience and I would eagerly return. Ice cream seems to be the finest offering, with lots of flavors and only $3 for a tall cone.

The family at Blackwells saved me - throwing together a sandwich for me even though they were closed. (They also threw in some chips which was super nice.)
They've got ice cream plus an assortment of healthy snacks and drinks. The Lenka bars are my favorite. The prices are some of the best in the area and they've got a bunch of unique gifts along including an assortment of new and used books. I got a Smokey Bear shirt for my friends daughter that she really liked.
You can sit outside of the shop on their deck or take your sandwich down to the...

They called their friend Randy, owner of Broughton's Service Center in Morris, PA, who came out and freed my car. So thankful for their small-town hospitality! They're very knowledgeable about the area and very warm and welcoming. (Hikers/visitors to the area: they have any food, handmade gifts, rental rooms, and anything else you may need for...
