Last year we brought our dog with no problems, other dogs were present as well. Of course, he was on a harness and kept close to us at all times. While not extremely relevant he is an 18lbs mini golden doodle. We enjoyed Middleton farms last year and wanted to go again. This time we had a poor experience.
At the gate we were welcomed, payed our entrance fee, and our dog was visible for employees to see from the rolled down window which they did. Within 5-10 minutes of arriving an owner of Middleton farms asked us in essence to hold our dog at all time or leave as pets were against policy.
The primary reason for leaving one star is the fact that this no pets policy is not stated anywhere; their website, the entrance, or expressly stated in any physical or virtual format (website, Facebook, square space, etc.) associated with Middleton farms. Employees did not seem to be aware of this policy either.

I did expressly tell this individual that Middleton farms as a whole needed to update their policies so that patrons and...
Read moreThis is a great place for a field trip. It is informative, interactive and so much fun. The kids were able to take part in many activities including, making butter, planting a seed, bottle feeding a calf, and going on a hay ride. They witnessed a cow being milked and were able to pet a few farm animals. The playground was fully equipped with various activities. There was also plenty of benches, chairs, picnic tables and gliders for parents and grandparents to take a breather. I highly recommend this wonderful...
Read moreThis was the funniest little farm we have been to! It’s $10 a person with plenty of parking. Food vendors/snack bar/snow cone stand are available. We were skeptical with it being so far and out the the way. But it is worth it. They have cool little play areas. Basketball and football games, blow up bounce house, zip line, hay and barrel rides, horse back ride ($5 per ride), and tons of photo opportunities. All the activities are toddler friendly. Worth taking the family...
