John and Brenda run a top notch operation here at Lakes Region Cyclery. I was having trouble with a tubeless rim and tire that would not sit on its bead, and a quick call and stop at the shop got me back on the road quickly! They've been doing this a long, long time, and the experience they bring to their work is unmatched. I trust them a lot more than all those darn YouTube videos, that's for sure!

Not only did they fix my tire, but they carried on a wonderful conversation with me throughout their work. Such a pleasure to meet these two, I'll be back for sure.

I called john and he was extremely polite and helpful on the phone. Then i realized that he was the farthest from me. I thought i would prefer do business with him because of his helpful attitude. When I arrived at his shop I thought that because he was working out of his house he might not have a very diverse range of tools or skills. I have never been more wrong in my life! John is a consummate master machinist, and has far more capabilities and skills than he would ever need to repair any bicycle. He is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met.
