Not even worth 1 star!! I had a very bad experience that made me switch my tractor repair shop from Lassiter to Agpro in Thomasville, GA. About 2 years ago I brought my JD 3032 tractor for service and to have my lawn mover attachment pin fixed. Service took many weeks and every time I called I was told that they just got a job to fix the combines in the field and that is a bigger job and therefore priority and when I finally got angry I was told by the service manager that my service will be free of charge for the time delay but there was still no time frame to have the tractor finished. So I came to the service shop and demanded to pick up the tractor and was told that one of the service workers has shot his brother by accident and he went missing after that and they have no idea what service was already done. This service was not free though as initially promised and I was charged about 5 times the amount for service which was then reduced to 20 percent of that amount after I complained and was told that the service will be finished today and the tractor brought to my house and when it finally arrived the lawn mover attachment pin was still missing which was the reason I have brought the tractor there in the first place. This was the most aggravating service appointment of my life and the shop manager kept telling me tomorrow tomorrow and when tomorrow came then it was again tomorrow for weeks until I finally told him that I don't believe a word he says.
So how is a response like "we are sorry but please call us and we will make it right" help in this situation if I have already tried this 10 times and it has worked NOT A SINGLE TIME in the past?!? I would say that unless a new service management team takes over I am just done with this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMr. Doug Eldridge deserves special recognition for making things right. I really appreciate his integrity, dedication and professionalism. He exceeded my expectations and earned my respect. Thanks again, Doug!
Man, I miss the old days when folks took pride in their name and work. However, Lasseter is like a lot of businesses here in Moultrie: they show up but never show out at the show down! I took an MS 391 chainsaw in and asked the Tech to do a thorough inspection to see if the unit would be worth repairing. The expectation was set that parts and labor would be $290. It took almost 2 weeks for my saw to be ready and now the chainsaw won't start or shuts off frequently. I appreciate Doug for calling me back, but the customer service overall is very poor. There's no sense of ownership or respect for people's time and money. They had no problem with my $317.27 payment but have treated me like I used an EBT card. When you charge $105/hr for labor, I think any reasonable person would expect the job to be done right. I may have lost my shirt this time, but Lasseter definitely lost...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in and bought a brand new Sthil chainsaw, easy to buy. The next morning I went through the process to crank it and pulled on it for over an hour. Loaded it up and took it back, sales clerk verified it hadnāt been used, they tried to crank it. I was obviously frustrated but asked if I could buy another saw, they just gave me my money back. I went across the road and bought the equivalent Echo Saw and it crunk on the second pull and Iāve used it all day. The one star review isnāt for the Sthil Saw itās the poor customer service as I really wanted a Sthil saw they just didnāt want to take the time to sell me one or right what was wrong. Iāll tell anyone whoāll listen my story, you should really invest in some people who will listen to the customer, you lost a customer for life. You are being warnedādonāt go here if youāre expecting anything more than a...
