BEWARE of this place HEALTHY FOOD SEEKER!!! This small family farm isn't tailored to health in the least. They create the prettiest most "hard to turn down" picture perfect popsicles for our kids. FACT, we know that refined sugar is the deadliest most harmful thing kids get the most addicted to and ingest. After much consulting with a few of Rocky Sun longstading customers and listening to their concerns, they still choose to save a "few" dollars by using deadly harmful refined sugar instead of organic raw cane sugar, That's not acceptable or right for our kids, and that's why I'm taking some of the time here to alert everyone. We luckily have Wild Carrot Farmstead in Drexel to provide to us raw goats milk in replace of Rocky Suns's Farm raw goat milk. Wild Carrot Farm in Drexel isn't chalked full of the deadly super hybrid pharmaceutical poison cydectin which is 1 of the most anti-life medications in the world today. Rocky Sun had made it clear and feels that the only way to treat their sickly goats and keep them from "put of nowhere" dying off from parasite overinfestation. They could of cared enough and found out how to feed their goats with hay or other feed off the ground like other goat farmers practice for the safety of their livestock and their customers. But in every last way, every last time I asked them why they made 1 decision over another about how their farm pdecisions-practices the line of thought was ALWAYS the same. This country store is 1 of Kansas's best kept health food secrets. It's not just a local family farm, it's a peaceful fun place for kids to play at while their parents can shop for healthy affordable clean fresh wholesome country food. My family amd everyone's family who shops here is blessed to have this store's food in our refrigerator to eat. The family who runs this store are 100% honest with wherever the various foods they offer is sourced so you can be confident with what your family is putting into their bellies! They deserve and would have a 5 star rating but I, Matthew Hazen regretfully made a review 2 years ago that was inappropriate and 1 month later I lost access to that email account so I can't remove it. This family has put their heart and soul into providing everyone's families with a healthy place to get food in a very unhealthy world. Rocky Suns Farm provides a quality product from fresh veggies & fruits, breads and other baked goods, eggs to frozen meats, ice cream & cheeses, ect. Most of our meals are planned around what products we pick up from there. Dustin, Mandi & their 4 young sons are a delight to be around. They are truly helpful & are concerned about their customers health & wellbeing. They have reached out personally when we haven't been able to make in during "store hours" & offered appointments on off days. We also enjoy their farm tour days & look forward to the growth of farm to table products. We have never been disappointed with any product.
