I really like this place. It's like a smaller Lowe's Hardware. These guys have a great selection of just about everything you would be looking for when working on a house or outdoor/indoor project. They carry major name brands of power tools and are even a certified Stihl dealer which definitely scores points with me. If I had to gig them on something, it would be their lumber selection. Even though they carry different sizes of plywood, 2x4's and other materials, it appears they only have lower grade lumber. You have to keep in mind that this place isn't a Lowes giant store so they can't have quite the selection that they have but they do a pretty damn good job with the space they do have. Place is just off cooks School road in Mt.Airy NC in a small curve. Looks like they are not open at times since their small neon sign isn't seen until you pull into the driveway. The store is very large and carries a variety of items for hardwear, plumbing, saws, etc. Some of the items I was looking for was very high priced over Lowe's or home Depot but they don't get the discounts one would assume.

Depending on what you want will vary but the staff is fairly friendly and is usually knowledgefull of what you are looking for. Roofing tin is somewhat cheaper than at the carport places unless you want used Tim, it's 2.75 a foot, used to. Is 1.00 a foot.

Best group of people you can work with to build, remodel, renovate or repair. They have everthing you could need for about anything. A hundred times better than going to Lowe's. Foothills actually has assistants on staff that really know what their doing or what you're doing. At Foothills you want it they have it, and can they can help you with how to install if you are a do it yourselfer. Deliver it to you, unload it for you and at better prices than Lowe's or Home Depot. If you go anywhere else you will pay too much and wait too long for your order.
