Clinton River — Local services in Mount Clemens

They don't do anything to fix problems in the park since the change of hands from Home First to Windward Communities. They don't enforce any of their own rules listed in the handbook. It's a shame it went downhill so fast after the takeover. Even the old office manager quit because they wouldn't listen to her and fix what was needed. I wish I had a way to contact corporate. Don't waste your time or money. There's a reason why they are cheaper than other communities. Frank the maintenance man is great, that's about the only thing I can say positive at this point. Hopefully things will change and get back to the way it was when I moved in...

I moved in the beginning of Feb. And I absolutely love it here!! The community is very friendly and well serviced. Frank does the maintenance here and is awesome at his job. He is friendly, respectful of the homes he enters, quick to respond if something needs to be addressed, and does the job right. Wendy and Kim in the office are fantastic!! Very friendly and genuine. I love living here! There's always a lot to do with a swimming pool, basketball hoop, and the Clinton River right outside your door. Swimming, fishing, kayaking and a playground keep the kids busy all day long. It's right down the road from Metro Beach and I-94, yet hidden from the road, so it's nice and quiet at night. The community is well kept, is a lot of fun during the holidays, yet very affordable. I won't be giving up my unit...
