Marr Branch Haunted House — Local services in Mount Olive

This is a great place to go I went last year with some friends and had a panic attack so I could not go in. But my mom paid for my friends to go in. After coming out of the main house they were so terrified that they did not want to go through the Bloody Bucket but they went through it. After they went through they did not get to go in the maze because one of them has really bad asthma and it is starting acting up so since I had a panic attack last year and could not go through I decided this year I would work in it. I have had people stop and tell me that this is one of the best years ever. I enjoy Marr Branch and will continue to work there as long as I can. But if you can't do trash talking and name calling then it's not the place for you. As I'm saying a grown man in his 20s reached in a cage and punched a 12 year old in the face. Then threatened to shoot the owner of the Bloody Bucket. Just one thing to know if you are going out there to start a fight then go somewhere else or don't go at all but if it's a scary reaction that's different. Plus I want to say that Marr Branches owners and coworkers have been nothing but nice to me...

This place was amazing! Definitely worth the money! The actors were hilarious interacting with the customers while in line, so kept us entertained while we waited. The walk through/run through was amazing. I was terrified the entire time! I have never had so much adrenaline lol. And Best of all they recommended you go through in small groups to inhance the experience rather than pushing a large group at once. My group split up into 2 groups of 3. I didn’t time it so I couldn’t say how long it took to go through but it felt plenty long enough to me especially since there was barely a moment to breath before the next scare! I was worried that my 2 teen boys who think they are bad a** wouldn’t be that thrilled. Man I was wrong they loved it. I waited for them to catch up before entering the field and it was hilarious to see them come running out like a track star with an actor chasing them. We were all worn out by the end. It was absolutely phenomenal! 10 out 10...

Overall experience was very good, however there were some areas of the haunt that could be improved upon. The house itself and the actors within were amazing, incredibly scary and well thought out. What disappointed me was the maze. Not going to go into a lot of detail here (no spoilers), but the actors there didn't do that well and only waved around chainsaws etc. There didn't seem to be much effort there and it was more or less a game of "is there more? Or are we too brave?" Lol. Also it wasn't much of a maze but that would have been fine if the actors there put a little more effort into scaring us. I went with my SO and we thoroughly enjoyed every part except the maze. I recommend going because it's still worth the $20 but I feel like they should be hiring more actors like the ones in the house (who were truly...
