Kibler Lumber Do it center — Local services in Mount Orab

First let me say the lady cashier at the front of the store is nice, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She is nothing at all like the rest of employees. I went in alone , as a lady, and had questions about what I needed. The men in the area, the box in the back of the store I’m guessing the “ customer service “ area treated me as if I was a bother and that I should know what I needed before I came. It’s a hardware, farmers, plumbing etc store even if I knew what I needed I wanted a good product for a good price. Blew the horrible CS off as them being busy although most of them were standing around a computer laughing and joking. Maybe it was their water fountain ? Went in a second time because I ended up getting the wrong thing the first time and was treated worse than the first time !!!! I feel sorry for the wives/significant others. They weren’t to friendly or willing to help my husband either. Definitely not the place to go to experience small town kindness . The selection is okay, but the prices are terrible. I have a home package and have been shopping around even for 2x4 studs, kibler is about $2 higher for each board. When asked, they do not even price match for a competitor... I can have the product shipped directly to me and the price difference will still be much higher than the delivery charge. Kibler lumber is 5 minutes from my house and still not worth the convenience.

I checked the website out before shopping online and expected the prices to be the same or similar. They definitely were priced significantly higher in store for the same exact item. While checking out the cashier was not helpful and lacked basic customer service skills. This store is the only hardware store that services this community and I will honestly never return. I would rather drive to one of the bigger stores, at least there I expect the bad customer service. Better yet, Ace Hardware is my go to for basic home needs. I will pay the higher price for knowledgeable employees that have great customer...
