Acme Lake — Local services in Mount Pleasant Township

This is a nice small lake that houses bass, Perch and Bluegill. They are abundant and seemed to bite well.

This lake is very weedy. It is extremely thick and relatively shallow. I had readings of 9 feet or so but the cover was so thick it fooled the fish finder. Bring the correct tackle and you will be fine.

The bigger issue is there is little to no shore line here. You will need a small boat or kayak to succeed here. This lake is basically a 1 for a shore fisherman and a 5 for someone with a yak or boat.

If you have a kayak use some weedless lures or some light weight jigs with live worms and you will have success. If you need to fish from shore go to a different lake.

Finally, there are restrooms here but no running water. They are semi clean but are basically toilets over a hole. It would be worse without anything but they are not the best if...
