McKim's IGA — Local services in Mount Vernon

Sorry, just not a fan. This store is the only reason why the town refuses to expand the shopping availability for lower costs groceries (unless you want to go to 3 different dollar stores that are never stocked, lol). Overpriced, family owned or not, it's hard enough being able to afford groceries, and people wonder why everyone goes to Evansville to get groceries. So, I recently reviewed IGA as a convenient local grocer (four stars) The last time I was there, I asked if they carried Red Bull by the case. I was told that they don't carry it at all. I spoke with a manager that told me that they simply didn't sell enough of it. I asked, if you don't carry it at all, how can you imagine that you'd even ever sell a single can. He said he was sure I could find it elsewhere. I told him that if I had to go to another store to buy it, that I'd buy ALL my groceries there. He said go for it. If there are no other options you can try and find the item you want but be warned add at least 50% to the cost.
