For a new location and being moved in within just one year’s time this place is massive and incredible. I don’t really have the words to describe it! I definitely advise everyone to experience it for themselves! For 2024 the ticket prices are $20 for general admission and $30 for VIP admission. Now they have big crowds and yes there is wait times but once you’re in the main line and you’re waiting for your turn to go through you truly can dismiss the wait entirely! I understand everyone will have their own opinions and not everyone will be satisfied but there’s so many more positive comments to be made and heard than a few negative ones! For such a big move it was pulled together amazingly. And honestly you negative Nancie’s can shush 😘 Forever spooky. I’ve been affiliated with this maze attraction for 14 plus years now and can attest that the new location will grow more and more every season, see it for yourself.

Drove all the way there and was closed due to inclement weather. No notification / email. Nothing. Waste of 3 hours driving there and back. Edit in response: I'm not sure where you have it on your Facebook as the last update I see in there is 2018. Also the website says to check website for closures and there was nothing on the website. And we attempted to call multiple times on the drive as well. But please, if your FAQ says the info will be on your website... please put it on your website. Also I had tickets reserved for the evening. Not just a random email, how do I go about getting a refund?

Been going to the Monster Corn Maze for the past 5 years. 2024- new set up! Really great! I loved the in and out of the haunt back into the corn maze really breaks up the adventures! The ticket prices are also good! $20.00 and VIP 30.00 ($25.00 ? -other reviews not true) - it took us a good solid 50 minutes to go through. I loved every minute of it and will be back next year to see how it evolves - so much fun must see!!!

Let's start with the positive. The attraction itself is great. It's well executed. The haunt is pretty top notch for the area. Here are the reasons for 1 star. First of all, I have been to several haunted attractions throughout the country. I don't mind to wait to go through a haunt. I do mind waiting over 4 hours standing in a line, ushered through like cattle getting ready to take a bolt in the head. Standing in that line is 1000% miserable. I watched Hocus Pocus 3 times (correction, I read the subtitles). I tried to hear a DJ yell questions at an audience with no microphone. I was hungry. I was thirsty. I had to use the restroom. I didn't move because I did not want to lose my place in line. Before you respond with the response I have read on other posts please save it. I know you paid the copyright fee. Maybe play more than 1 movie? I know you have a DJ. Give her a mic. I know you want to provide an awesome attraction for an affordable price. But, I promise there are better ways to get people in and out without making everyone wait in agony for HOURS in a line. People will wait in your location for 3 or 4 hours if they have something to keep them entertained and or so they can get something to drink. Why would you want your guests standing in a line that long and not spending anymore money? Instead of the $30 I spent I would have spent more if I was able to see more than the back of people's heads in front of me. Also, why would you only send the number of people that are in a group? Why not 10 at a time? Most people don't mind being around people they don't know. Heck after 4 hours I would have walked through with anyone. I was in so much pain after waiting that long I didn't even care about the haunt anymore. I just wanted to get through so I could get in my car and be warm. We rushed through not really pay attention to anything because we just wanted to sit down and go home. Sorry for such a negative survey but your attraction has a lot of potential if some issues...

So, I wish I could give 3.5 or 3.75 stars because 3 seems too low but 4 seems a little high. But let me explain...

The workers there are great, the scare-ers were respectful of peoples boundaries, and even the concession stand was super speedy! When it comes to just that stuff, 5 stars!

But the maze itself and scares left a little to be desired in my opinion. I felt that they relied a little too heavily on jumpscares and gotchas. They could do with a little tension building. For example. In the corn maze, it was often just someone jumping out and screaming. Over and over. The gimmick runs thin after a while, ya know? But for example, had they done some rustling here and there, whispering in the field, quick chainsaw revving in the distance, have someone run across your path looking scared and panicked, then top it off with the final jumpscare of the chainsaw guy appearing under a spotlight running at you. Let the tension build and the moment breathe. For a great example where they did this well, there is a medical themed section at one point with distant screaming and someone yelling out "I'm not crazy! Help me please!". It was a whole two rooms later before I came across who was screaming. That let my imagination run wild before the payoff. That was horror 101, loved it!

And most of the different themed sections had thier vibes down perfectly. There's a catacomb/graveyard section and an Egyptian tomb section that particularly stuck out to me as favorites, design-wise.

Unfortunately when I went, I wasn't able to try the Zombie Paintball. People tell me it's very fun....

Wow, my wife and love to visit Hollister, Mo. this year we decided to stay at an cute little place near the Monster Corn Maze. We had heard from friends that went last year how much fun it was and scary. From the pictures our friends showed us from their visit they have added a ton of new haunts and scary stuff. Well...they didn't let us down!! The spooks were so on top of scaring us to death. They jumped out, yelled, screamed, appeared out of no where, such a great experience. My favorite was the coffin area and the last building where all those creepy people were standing around the "dead" girl. My wife loved the paint ball, well hell, she love all the buildings. The Alice In Wonderland was fantastic. The spook that was scaring people jumped out of nowhere and then she was at the end of the building as we went out! What the heck! So much fun... We had to wait for a bit, but well worth it and we had fun while we did. So much to do until we got to go in. Putt Putt, Arts and Crafts, Paint Ball, Food, Corn Toss and a fun gift shop. Really!! And the price! So Cheap$ where can you go for an entire night for $15.00. We paid VIP $25.00 because it was so cool. SERIOUSLY, they could charge more... We will be back again. Hopefully this year but for sure next year. Keep those bones a rattlln' Monster Corn Maze!! ...
