Lulu's Cafe — Local services in Mountain Home

Filled up with a tank of gas here and it ended up being bad. Had to call roadside assistance and have my 2013 F150 towed to the nearest dealer. Come to find out, another vehicle was towed a couple of days before into the dealer after getting gas from the same place. I ended up having to stay over in Mountain Home while the dealership flushed the fuel system. It didn't work but helped, now I'm stuck in Utah where a dealership will replace a fuel pump and filter. The owner does seem like a nice guy so hopefully he will end up paying for the repairs with minimal fuss.

Would like to see a health inspector visit unexpectedly. Still ( reading review from 2 years ago) not opening their bathroom to seated diners. I did get to use it, though, and was so disgusted by how filthy it was! That nasty, yellow waxy water ring and all the brown specks from never washing the toilet bowl? Owner got angry at me for bringing him income from 2 diners and kindly explaining the toilet had to get clean or risk a bad inspection. My discomfort at the filth in the same restroom the kitchen persons use angered him. Never again. There are NO inspection records at the south Central District Health Department, either,...

Great family run restaurant, very clean and friendly place to eat. The owner opened a bit early for us once when we took our lunch earlier than usual. I only ordered the carne asada torta the few times I went in, they were quick and I could finish and be full in time to go back to work. Enjoyed talking to the owner, great guy, always asked if the food was good and checked if we needed anything. There's also a small store connected to the restaurant so it was convenient to grab a red bull or Gatorade while paying...
