I have been coming to Clancy’s for about a year now and even in this short amount of time, I can tell the venue is going down hill. There are certainly more negatives then positives. I have been going there about 30 times and several things I have seen exhibits this. I have experienced a printer that has been down for months, can even print the scores when they are perfectly able too. I also have experienced warm drinks when they should be cold, the lanes are breaking down even more with uneven oil, or the lack thereof. The pins have no action in them, their obsolete scoring system works half the time, I get 9 pins down and credits me for a 3 pin split, the machines reset the pins when you have not thrown your 2nd ball, getting rid of the pins left and more recently, the sweep comes down unexpectedly after the pins were already racked and ready to go (Lane 30). The machines do not return your ball and take CHUNKS out of your ball! 😡 And some of the letters do not even work when you try to put your name in (Lane 22)!

In addition to the lane conditions being unfavorable, most of the staff is very unprofessional, they have an attitude, are lazy and are irresponsible. In my opinion, they should not even be working there. These are the front desk employees I am talking about and barely look like they are out of high school. In my opinion, they are too young. They are bowling and goofing around when they should be at the front desk working. In addition, they are mean and false accuse you of something that is NOT even your fault and jump all over you like you are a freaking idiot and threaten to throw you out of the center if it happens again! 😠 I tried to tell him that it was not my fault, but he didn’t want to hear it and disrespectfully walks away to goof off some more. It is the machines that caused the sweep to malfunction, making me look like I threw my bowling ball on purpose to try and break the machine! To back this up, this happened AGAIN later out of no where! I even had a witness! Luckily I was waiting for my ball at the time. And to false accuse me of trying to break the machine was totally NOT true! I was already into my throw and could not stop it. The sweep malfunctioned and came down sneakily when I was not looking. I did not cause this predicament, it was an error by the machines in the back. I do not know his name, but he should be disciplined for coming at a customer disrespectfully and embarrassing people and threatening them. At this point, I would not put it past him that maybe he controlled the machine from the front and made the sweep come down on purpose so that he would have a reason to throw me out. The guy obviously does not like me for some reason. I am nice to everyone, but obviously he had issues. He had the rest of the employers working front desk need to be reprimanded for their mistreating of customers, irresponsibility and harassing customers! I would not recommend this place to others, it is not family friendly at all and if things do not change real soon (major renovations, new respectable, decent employees and better atmosphere) I will completely stop coming there and go somewhere else. New Castle, IN had a wonderful, newly renovated bowling alley with great RESPECTABLE employees that are professional and are caring! This stone age place needs to be completely renovated,...

Went there on a Saturday night for cosmic bowl. We had a party of 5, all of which are over the age of 21. We had a DD so we all planned on spending a good amount of money at the bar. We got there at 10:30. Cosmic bowl didn't start until 11:30. We sat at this small bar for a good 15 minutes before the bartender showed up. We ordered drinks then walked around and found an amazing sports pub at the end of the building. They have bowling lanes right there at this pub as well. The bartender was amazing down there. She told us to request a "bar lane" and she would serve us all night. We played pool and downed several alcoholic drinks. When it was time for cosmic, we had to stand in a long line of people where this completely rude police officer was going down the line taking everyone's debit cards. No matter where you were in line, he took your card and then just tossed it on the counter where the cashier was. This system was so damn messed up that there was a huge commotion of mixed up debit cards. Someone about walked away with my card. Talk about a hugeeee invasion of privacy and huge probability of identity theft. This was a total buzz kill for us. When we finally got up to the counter, the cashier told us that we weren't allowed to have a bar lane because they were closing down that half of the bowling alley, including that bar that we planned on drinking from. They assigned everyone to one lane right after another in chronological order. Now, there wasnt that many people there. All together, I think everyone only took up 50 lanes. But they would not space anyone out so it was so crowded and packed that it really sucked. Cosmic bowling is only 2 hours long. But by time we had got all the debit cards figured out and finally got assigned to a lane and trying to find room on where to sit.. we wasted 35 minutes of the limited 2 hours we had. This place could have really made some good money of off us last night, especially since we were all wanting to really drink. But that was a missed opportunity for them and we all agreed that we are never going back after how...

I attempted to send this via the email provided on your website (which is no longer an active email) and I also submitted it via the email forum on your website but never heard back, so while I hate to leave this in a review I feel I have no other way to get your attention…

I need to speak to the manager/owner of this bowling alley, I was at cosmic bowl this past Saturday (may 3rd) and on my way out I stopped to tell the employees to have a good night because they’re always so nice to us, we were in the middle of a very short conversation when all of a sudden Johnathan came up and started screaming and yelling at Ganin (who wasn’t even on the clock he was just helping out of the goodness of his heart). I stopped speaking and watched, then this escalated to the point where Johnathan puffed up and got up in Ganin’s face yelling at him, at this point I couldn’t stand by any longer so I told him that getting in his employees face was uncalled for… this resulted in Johnathan turning his rage towards me, he came up to the counter yelling trying to intimidate me. Just because this guy is in a manager position and is taller doesn’t give him the right to attempt to intimidate anyone let alone a customer who has been coming every weekend for the last 6+ months.

The atmosphere at this bowling alley has become very toxic and unfriendly, this started happening when Johnathan started. I would really appreciate a way to contact the owner or someone higher than Johnathan to voice my concerns in person or over the phone. If you’re going to condone the aggressive behavior exhibited by Johnathan then I'm going to have to find another place to go bowling, this place use to have a relaxed and fun environment where we could unwind and enjoy ourselves and I hate to see it being ruined by...
