I am writing this review because my experiences at the Muncy CVS have been getting worse over the past year, especially with staff who are stationed upfront in the store. I must say that the pharmacists, however, ARE very helpful. Using the self-checkout (particularly if you have a coupon) is getting more difficult than ever, and being rude to customers is becoming the norm with some of their employees. I tried to scan a coupon using their self-checkout, but the machine would not accept my coupon no matter which way I turned it. Becoming increasingly frustrated after being ignored by the employees at the desk, I was told to put the coupon in the slot. I did, and I admit that was my mistake because the coupon hadn't been scanned. One of the employees came over and was irritated that she had to use her key to open the container to fish out my coupon. She opened it and I told her that it should be on top. She took out what looked like my coupon, but she said that it couldn't be because it was for a future purchase. It was not for a future purchase. It was a coupon that could be used. I DID think that the coupon had said $5 off a $20 digestive product, but I was in error. It was for ANY $20 purchase. After convincing her that she did have the correct coupon, she held it up in front of me and said, "Does this say digestive product?" Very rude and unnecessary. After unsuccessfully trying to scan the coupon herself at the self-checkout, she said that it would need to be put in manually at the regular checkout. After her colleague had trouble scanning it in, I asked her why the coupons were so hard to scan. She said mine had splotches on it. I saw no splotches and checked my other coupons and saw nothing. The rudeness I experienced yesterday has been a pattern in this location, which I haven't experienced in the other CVS stores I have visited. Read moreAbsolutely the worst pharmacy and pharmacist I have ever delt with in my life! 3 days in a row, I was told my medication would be ready "in 1 hour" and three days in a row I wasted my time, gas and felt completely disrespected by this joke of a pharmacy. They will lie to you, and then speak about you in front of staff and customers. They are completely incompetent and Unprofessional! I have already spoke to my attorney about taking legal action for the way they have played around with me and my life sustaining medication. It's no wonder they can't keep a pharmacist there for more than a few weeks. They hire the worst people imaginable. Only 1 pharmacist has been wonderful and that is the man with the shoulder length white hair. I did switch to Weis pharmacy last month, but my medication was $200 more than usual because Weis stopped taking Goodrx coupons. So unfortunately, my doctor sent my medicine to cvs again this month. The two clerks there were extremely rude. Telling me there was nothing they could do. I couldn’t return anything to bring the balance down or cancel the transaction. I was actually told that i was at the point of no return. I said so i am to stand here for a week until i have the $? Was told dont know what to tell you. I said it was unacceptable. The clerk behind the counter rolled her eyes at me and shook her head. I told her that her actions were not helping me feel any better about the situation.
