As much as I want to give 5 stars I just can’t. I will say they did an AMAZING job on our wedding glasses and server set as well as fixing a yeti for us, but my reasoning for giving 2 stars is for the poor lack in communication with a cutting board. When I went to pick up our yeti 12.03.22 I discovered that they did cutting boards as well and picked one out for a Christmas gift for my husband. She said she would be in touch regarding customizing it. After not hearing from her I texted on 12.16 and got no response. Christmas gift ruined. So I thought I could give it as a birthday gift on 01.21. I texted again 01.07 AND 01.10 and still no response. I then called 01.19 and got sent to voicemail only to then receive a text checking in on what I would like. As if I was a new customer. So I responded regarding the cutting board. She said oh yes I still have it with the sticky note showing me where you wanted the engraving and asked if I could tell her again what I wanted so I did and then no more communication. I then wanted to give it one more shot and called again 02.09.23 and was sent straight to voicemail and I have heard...

I created a design that I wanted etched in to a couple of Glencairn glasses as a gift for my buddy’s 40th birthday.

I’m a former graphic designer, so I know that a digital design doesn’t always translate to the physical material. My design had a bunch of small details, so I wanted to be sure they were able to be engraved.

Beth answered all my questions and assured me that she could accomplish the results I was looking for. She even suggested a few small tweaks to my design that resulted in a better end product.

After a very quick turnaround time, I went to the Highland Rim studio to pick up the glasses. I was absolutely blown away by how great they looked.. Beth nailed every detail of my design!

She is also very friendly and kind. When I picked up my glasses, we chatted a bit about her studio, her craft, and her passion for this art form. You can see that passion reflected in the quality of her work.

I called Beth needing a 2 day turn-around on a couple of glasses I needed engraved. She offered next day turn-around if I got the glasses to her by the end of the day. I went to her shop and we discussed fonts and finish levels, and pricing. I thought the price was not high enough, so I bumped up a little bit. She emailed font options to me, then after we selected a font, she created mock-up photos on my glasses for approval. We met in town the next day for delivery, and I have to say, the glasses were beautifully done, exactly as discussed and they looked even better than the mock-up photos. We are extremely please with the work Beth did. The glasses are faintly colored and still transparent, so we didn't want the engraving to be too bold. She hit the transparency level perfectly. You'll need to zoom in on the photos if you want to see the detail, since these were really hard to photograph. They are even better than we could have expected. I highly recommend Highland Rim...
