I ended up not reserving my expected date due to the appalling service received over the phone. A simple inquiry for more information turned into one of the most unprofessional encounters imaginable. The woman who answered, who sounded like an older lady, was shockingly rude and dismissive from the very beginning. She continually cut me off mid-sentence, spoke as though my questions were a nuisance, and when I began to provide my payment information, she muttered āAny time nowā with a dramatic huff, as if a paying customer was inconveniencing her by⦠paying.
That level of arrogance and disrespect is unacceptable anywhere, but especially in a customer-facing role. The receptionist is the first point of contact, the voice of the business, and the reflection of its standards. If this is the best representation this company can offer, it speaks volumes about the lack of training, management, and basic professionalism behind the scenes. Appalachian Trail Rides, I would review the integrity and quality of the women I had the displeasure to converse with.
Because of that phone call alone, this company instantly lost $150āand far more in future business. Word travels quickly, and I will make sure friends, family, and others in the area are aware that this establishment allows incompetence and outright rudeness to drive away customers. There are many other horse trails nearby that actually respect the people keeping them in business.
This company, on the other hand, has already proven it does not deserve mine.
Thank you, may the Lord renew you, so you can bear the fruits of the spirit, like kindness...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of going on a trail ride with Applalachian Trail Rides in Blue Ridge, GA and I must say it was an incredible experience. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with lush forests, rolling hills and stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
But what really made this experience unforgettable were the great trails and the ease of handling the horses, even for beginners. The horses were well-trained, gentle and responsive to even the slightest of cues, making for a smooth and enjoyable ride.
However, the highlight of our trip was our guide, Luke. His knowledge of the area and the history of the trails was impressive and his passion for his work was contagious. He made us feel at ease throughout the ride and was always ready to answer any questions we had about the scenery or the horses.
Luke's expertise and professionalism made our trip truly unforgettable. He was patient and accommodating, especially with our 8 year old grandson, making sure that each and every one of us had an amazing experience. I highly recommend Appalachian Trail Rides for anyone looking for a great horseback riding experience. It's an adventure that you won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband, daughter, and I had the best experience from start to finish! We were warmly greeted by staff and checked-in quickly. The stable was clean and very well kept up. I was amazed at the care and respect the staff gave each horse. Before the ride safety instructions were given and my daughter started to get nervous knowing that we were able to start our ride. As we began to tell her that everything was going to be fine, the staff came over to reassure her. Our trail leader, Adriana, told her that she would lead her horse if that would make her more comfortable and stayed with her for the whole ride. As I got on my horse, I could hear them talking and laughing together. Adriana was such a fantastic leader, telling us about the local area and each horseās history. I could tell that she truly passionate about working with the horses there and answered all of my daughterās questions with great patience. The trail was a lot of fun with beautiful scenery and even saw some wildlife. At the end of the ride, I think we were all sad to say goodbye. Canāt wait to go back again and weāll definitely ask for Adriana to...
