The closing hours are extremely annoying, namely the physical area closing times vs. facility closing times and winter hours vs. summer hours.
Also, there are a few staff members that are extremely rude, but others are great (Marty Kay, Christian). Yesterday, this guy walked around stalking people during the last 15 min and he was pointing to his wrist at everyone while walking around the track the ENTIRE TIME. When the time was up, he walked through the treadmills and stopped machines and I think I even saw him take someone's headphones off. This is beyond unacceptable, but what can you do besides vocalize it publicly on Google. :-)
Limited child care hours, on limited days of the week. LOTS of rules about what children can and can't do, for example, kids can play in the play area under the age of 9 (only under direct supervision), but 9 and above are not allowed, period (even if parent is in there). Kids have to be in high school to be in the weights area, and I think there are rules about them being in the gym by themselves, but it's hard to keep track...

I'm glad we do not support these kinds of businesses w their over pretentious staff want to make you feel like they're better than you. If I knew who to complain to I would let their boss know. Read moreUnfortunately, even with the new renovations to the complete building, I can only give the Y a three out of five. My son is currently ten years old and we are in quite the predicament. He has been instructed by his dietician and family Doctor to begin a workout regime. Thinking a yearly membership would start him on the right push, we purchased one. Sadly, kids must be going into the sixth grade in order to be allow to talker the mandatory class to use the weights. Gah.
