Ive spent a lot of time in air bnbs over the years and some folks understand they're in the hospitality industry, and others arrogantly make it clear you're in their home and unwelcome. This is the latter. Before checking in we received a multiple page list of rules, when we arrived there was aggressive signage throughout the house, you cant use the front door, you cant wear shoes, if you leave the garage door to the house open they will charge you for pest control remediation, etc. even worse, there was signage through out the house that you are on camera (i dont even think thats legal). The house was rundown with multiple issues including a shower and toilet that wont drain, it had old linens with holes, a broken ice machine, i could go on an on nit picking these things but the overall message is these owners need to get their attitude and house in order.
