Welcome to one of the most beautiful and expensive places in USA Be ready for amazing breathtaking views , Great beaches, expensive restaurants and fun nights. The island give you opportunity to bike ride all over it. You can rent bike almost at every corner. They even deliver to your rental. Some hotels even have bike that you can use. Many hiking opportunities. Ask locals. Traffic is crazy in the summer. You can bring your car on the Ferry but be sure you make reservation 2 - 3 months earlier. Prepare yoursel that bars/restaurants closings at 1 PM. Many fun things to do - sailing, fishing, shopping (expensive) , dining in and out, farmers markets , beach walks ... 2 groceries stores and couple small farm style markets. (No fast food on the island - no Starbucks, DUNKIN l, McDonald's, KFC - bring with you from the cape). 2 ways coming in and out of here - ferry and plane. If the weather is bad you are stuck here !!! Many festivals hapens so check the local calendar 📅 Winter here is cold and windy. Snow did not stay long on the ground. 2-3 places(restaurants) staying open during the winter and the most fun thing to do is go to the Grocery store !!! Islanders are really nice and friendly. So much to see and do here. Spend at least a week exploring, which really isn't enough time to enjoy everything this island has to offer. People are friendly and helpful. Exploring the piers and looking at all the amazing small watercrafts to luxurious yachts. Hit the many shops and pick up something island related. Plenty of places to grab something to eat.
