Shirley's Flowers & Sweets — Local services in Nashua

My nephew from out of state used 1-800-flowers and they contracted with Shirley's Flowers. He even paid extra to send them on Monday 9/1/14 (my actual BDay and it was Labor Day). Got home from work and found the tag on the front door that they tried to deliver the arrangement and a voicemail was left. I called them back and they said that they would not be able to deliver the flowers till Thursday or Friday of this week. I said that I do not know what to do because I work most days. Her comment back was "well don't we all". I said that they could leave them at my front door (live on a cul-de-sac in a beautiful neighborhood and have had other flower shops leave them at the front door), or they could leave them with my neighbor. They could not accommodate me. I told her then I will have to tell my nephew not to use Shirley's Flowers ever again.

They actually call 1-800-flowers to tell them that I yelled at them. WOW. What a fabricated lie. Guess they did not want the business.

And as for me being local, you know what they say ......a happy customer tells 10 people .....an unhappy customer tells 100 people.

POOR CUSTOMER...

I do NOT recommend Shirley's!!

They were delivering to the wrong address. The driver called to verify the address, but my wife answered and said this is her number but that is not her address. I called Shirley’s to let them know that the driver just called and had been to the wrong address. I asked when will they would arrive, they said tomorrow. I don't need them tomorrow, I would like them today, is that possible? She then proceeded to raise her voice and shout over my talking. I told her there is no need to yell at me or to be rude, I am being respectful. She continued, I hung up. UNREAL how rude merchants think they can be to their customers. Terrible florist and horrible customer service.

I called FTD and filed a complaint as well as had them reissue the order but from a different florist for the next day. Stay far away from Shirley's Flowers and Sweets, Inc. You will be very disappointed. Read the other reviews… I...

I stopped in to purchase some roses the day before mother's day , after going to several other florists , only to find over priced half wilted flowers , I've driven by this particular florist many times , but have never stopped in . Of course with it being the day before mother's day , they were busy . I asked to see some long stem roses , and yes , they were absolutely gorgeous , perfect for what I was looking for , and within the remaining budget for mother's day gifts . The staff was extremely friendly and worked together incredibly well , not missing a beat . My wife loves this years roses , she even took a picture and posted them on Facebook . I'll stop here more often to get flowers for...
