Upon driving to the entrance the security guard was very friendly, professional and did a great job with safety procedures. The campus was clean and inviting, just not as busy with activities as in previous back to school days. Which is understandable with the pandemic. I invited my parents to come with me. My dad is 93 and my mom is 82. The last time they were at ASU was in their 20s/30s. Although they didnt attend alcorn (my mom went to a nursing program at the charity hospital and my dad joined the service), they were like tourist and wanted to see everything.    Read moreI was fortunate enough to have attended Alcorn in 1976 and 1977 unfortunately I was not able to get my degree from ASU due to scheduling difficulties. I did recieve my BS and MS from University of Southern Ms Hattiesburg 1978 and 1980. The year and a half that I spent at ASU are so very special to me. I had never been away from home and the firstborn and first person to attend a university . The instructors were so kind and instrumental in helping me adjust to college living.
