I made a special trip to visit the Little Eva Pecan House store. The inviting and fun sign caught my attention. Inside, the store was clean and filled with a variety of items including art, jewelry, books, and crafts. While taking photographs to share with others who might be interested in the store, an employee behind the counter pointed to a sign above her indicating that no photography or video was allowed. The employee explained that the owners do not like it. I hadn't noticed the sign until it was pointed out, as it was not prominently displayed. As a reviewer and marketer, I believe such a policy should be clearly posted at the entrance so customers are aware before entering. I find it puzzling why a store would not want its merchandise shared or showcased, but I respect their right to enforce such a rule. I strive to review and share my experiences at various places on Google Maps, often including photos or videos. After being informed of the no-photography policy, I felt uncomfortable and quietly left to continue on to my next destination. NOTE: The photographs of the store's interior that I'm sharing with my review were taken before I was informed about the no-photography policy.

Little Eva Pecan Company – A Hidden Gem Full of Southern Charm Little Eva Pecan Company is such a charming stop—absolutely worth the visit if you’re in the area! The shop itself is adorable, warm, and inviting, with a wonderful selection of gift items and unique pecan products. What makes it even more special is that it’s a co-op featuring artwork from talented artists across Louisiana. I stopped in specifically to view pieces by James Hunter, the grandson of renowned folk artist Clementine Hunter, and I was not disappointed. The variety and heart in the artwork on display made it a truly memorable experience. The owner and her employee were incredibly sweet and welcoming, taking the time to visit with me during my entire shopping experience. Their Southern hospitality was genuine and made the visit even more enjoyable. As a special surprise, the owner even gifted me some fresh Zinnias from her property—such a thoughtful and touching gesture that I won’t forget. Whether you’re looking for locally made art, pecan treats, or a meaningful souvenir, Little Eva Pecan Company is a must-visit. It’s a little treasure tucked away with big heart and beauty.

First of all let me say that my that wife and I have been driving to Natchitoches fro Gonzales for five years now to pick up pecans and us and family, its a full day but we enjoy the trip. The pecans are good and the people are great. This year we purchased 30 lbs of pecans. Our last 10lbs were put in a plastic container as we do every year. Well this time they went bad within two weeks. I called and explained what happen to the pecans. The lady I spoke to got real offensive and said I should not have put them in a sealed container, she went on to say every time they sell pecans they tell you and give you a Boucher on how to take care of them, that didn't happen. I would really like to tell the people who owns Natchitoches Pecans I will never buy anything from you again, if for no other reason the don't care attitude what happen to my pecans, you were very rude.i going to send these molded pecans...
