Wholesome Valley Farm — Local services in Navarre

Originally, I became aware of Wholesale Valley Farm due to their participation in the Fresh Fork CSA group. I have not participated in the shares for a few years for various reasons. However,I love this place so much, I have to drive down there (from Akron approximately 40 miles away) if only for their delicious eggs!! I know, I'm weird about my eggs, but they are so good 😊.... it's absolutely worth it. Thank goodness I pick up 3 dozen at a time. Anyway, the meats, jar goods, dairy, CRACKERS and other produce are great as well. I bring a cooler full of ice so I can pack the food safely while I stop and see/do other things. This, unfortunately for us, can only be sustainable during the summer. Next fall, I'll sign up for the farm shares again so I can support my habit 🤭. Apart from running your own homestead, the meat and produce from Wholesome Valley Farm is the closest you will get to authentic farm fresh foods. This used to be a great place and I would have given 5 stars, but now it's self serve and impersonal. While their products are still amazing! I miss the personal touches that existed before.
