I'd give ZERO stars if it were an option. I requested a refund for a shipment I was unable to accept due to receiving a cancer diagnosis and having to seek treatment in another state. They refused to honor their website advertised one-time courtesy refund and instead offered me a credit until next year. As a result of their not refunding my $243.00, I am unable to purchase all of the medications needed to treat the cancer this month and they are holding my funds. Their website is now advertising that they are SOLD OUT for 2022 season of bee shipments, so they have BOTH received money from another customer for my order, AND are holding my money INTEREST-FREE for a year as a "store credit." This is unacceptable for me in my position and perhaps it would be unacceptable for others in similar situations.
**Edited 04-21-2025 to add that although R Weaver Apiaries have a "no refunds two week prior to shipping policy," I had not been informed of the date they planned to ship the bees when I inquired about the refund due to the circumstances I attest to. I have the emails in chronological order that indicate that I was informed in their reply to my refund request that they were scheduled to be shipped in two days. I had not received a two week shipping notice indicating the shipping date prior to my request. I did receive my refund and an apology which I accepted and still assert the facts as stated. I have since found local sources for all of my apiary needs and for that I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT TRUST THIS RIPOFF COMPANY! I bought a Queen from this ripoff joint! Because of the shipping method they demand, they forced me to pay over $100 for shipping UPS, she had to travel over 2000 miles, and three days, from Texas, to Louisville KY, back to Texas, to get to my farm in west Texas. When she arrived, the four attendants in the cage were alive, but they had ripped the head off the Queen, and Weaverās was not willing to replace her. If they would have shipped her via USPS Priority Mail, it would have cost about $10, I would have gotten her in one or two days, and thereās a good chance she would have been alive! These people care about taking your money, but they do not care about their customers or the customerās bees!
Edit: The review was posted only a week ago because I just found out I could post it. I do not have the exact date I was ripped off by your company, but when I tried to get your people to make it right, the day after it happened, I was told it was my problem and there was nothing R Weaver could or would do. Because of your unscrupulous actions, the hive absconded. I felt like the Google community deserved to know the truth, so as soon as I found out I could post the review,...

I did as I was told.. the hive with honey is doing great...the hive with a bunch of brood... gone with the wind with nothing but comb on the frames.. I call the office, explain the issue, the Lady owner says she understands cuz it's happened to her and they're sorry bit not going to do anything.. I explained again that I was sold a box of brood late in the season a.d that's not right.. I said I wouldn't be back and hung up. ( I called the Texas Aggie bee department.. the experts said it was not good to do a new nuc brood box in August) Do yourself a favor and go next door to B Weaver apiary.. they won't rip you off.. no wonder there's a family fued.. these R Weaver bee...
