Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Nebraska City

I've always had a great experience here, but today I watched the cashiers take a man's cart away from him with a full load of groceries on the counter. When he commented about needing a cart, the cashier just stared at him. They finally did have someone come offer to carry his groceries out but this was completely unnecessary. I was surprised by the Fareway Grocery store. We have driven by the store many times and from the road it doesn't look very appealing. Once inside though we found that the store was larger than expected, brightly lit and well organized. The staff was the usual assortment of kids stocking shelves and manning the registers. I was at this store on 09/29/2020 and purchase 8 pineapple bratworst 8 beer bratworst and 8 apple bratworst we had purchased bratworst from this store about a year ago and they were awesome, so I expected the same., upon returning home to Oklahoma we grilled the beer and the pineapple brats, I'm sorry to say they were the nastiest things. They had no flavor, sad to say the apple ones were the same so bad we fed them to the dogs. I will not be getting brats...
