Nescopeck Agway — Local services in Nescopeck

So, I went to Nescopeck Agway to buy Sunflower seed advertised on their website at $19.99 for a 40lb bag. Cashier said they couldn't let me have it at that price because their on the shelf price is $24.99. I said if I had ordered it online and came to pick it up then what would have happened. Cashier said they wouldn't have honored the sale. I said that was not right and that they need to fix the website pricing. Cashier then said, let me talk with my manager. Manager and cashier talked in the corner and then the Manager came to me and said I could have a "generic" brand sunflower bird seed for the $19.99 price. I asked if I could see the product. Manager said it's not on the shelf but in the warehouse. I asked what the original price of the generic brand was and the manager said she didn't know. She then said "Okay, I'll let you have the online advertised 40lb bag for the $19.99 but I won't do it again". I was so upset by that time that I told her.."It's okay, We don't have to do business and I said I had to leave as I didn't need the drama and the Manager already had my blood pressure peaked. As I was leaving the Manager yelled, "I told you I would let you have the advertised price". I said "That's okay, I'm not a happy person today, Thank You". I'll pay more at the Tractor Supply and feel better as you see it's not all about the $10 savings I may have had buying (2) 40lb bags of the Sunflower seed at Agway, It is about doing honest business and honoring the advertised price. If they just would have sold the product at the advertised price and not said anything to me and then fixed the problem after I left the store, all would have been good. They didn't do that. They did however fix the pricing on their website as I rechecked it...

Called to see if they had any Butterfly Bushes.. Becca told me she'll ask Mary Jo. 25 seconds later she said the have exactly one. Asked Becca to hold it, we'll be there in 20 minutes.

We get there and are greeted by Mary Jo. She stated it's name is "Prince Charming.". It was at this moment I knew we were at the right place. I would've called him Frank, but ok. Prince it is.

She then proceeded to school Lynn and I on it's care. Surprisingly, we listened attentively, like first graders on their 1st day of school.

Anyway, on the way out,vi looked at Lynn, my significant other, and said: They are now where go to buy anything.

I remember stopping here at Agway as a kid with my mom & my grandma pretty often too bkuz I helped carry everything for them... and I love this place it's been around for a long time it's a good hearted country & all ur needs kinda store if ur roots are in farming or landscaping/excavation etc. maybe just fixing up ur home they got it & I remember picking up supplies with work truck here for 2 outfits I worked for, well anyway hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving with Much Love & Respect to the Agway Family, Friends & All...
