Absolutely lovely little grocery store in an area that has few options. And the coffee shop inside is also lovely (and filling a need in the area), and the entire staff is very nice. But please, for the love of coffee- please teach the entire cafe staff to put ice in the cup BEFORE making iced coffee and iced latte drinks. Some do, and it results in a perfect balance of ingredients, but the ones that don't- inevitably make iced coffee drinks with WAY too much milk and not nearly enough ice. I've never seen an iced drink made like that. A 16 oz iced latte has 2 shots of espresso, milk, and ice. This method gives you a drink that barely even has a brown tint. And I tried ordering an iced drink with paying for an extra shot.. so 3 shots of espresso for a 16 oz latte, and still there was way too much milk (and too much caffeine). The ice melts too fast, and it's mostly milk. I love this place. I live nearby. This is the only reason why I don't get summertime coffee here. I've tried to correct it, but I think it needs to be a simple staff training thing. Your iced latte customers would...
Read moreJoseph's Market Place is a gem. It is located in a little strip mall back off of the road. I have to admit that we initially passed it by & had to turn around. Their signage is done in red, which is harder to see than the other ones done in white. However, once we found it, it was well worth the trip. Joseph's is primarily a meat market, but is so much more than that!! Their meats were all very lean & competitively priced. Joseph makes many of his own meats and breads. They have a well stocked vegetable section, a dairy section, a deli which in addition to meats & cheeses, also sells prepared dishes like potato salad and chicken salad, etc. They carry any kind of pasta you could possibly want. They also carry a variety of sauces for the pasta. They carry canned goods, baked goods, & quite a few other items. They also sell hot rotisserie chicken. They sell some canned goods in large volume cans, ie tomatoes, etc. Their staff, as well as their customers were extremely kind, polite, & helpful. The store is...
Read moreFantastic locally own and operated medium size grocery store. Because it's not a giant 10 acre store, you are in-and-out in a few minutes. They only carry 1 or 2 brand names of an item, but it's top shelf stuff. Amazing meats and a real butcher behind the counter. They also have a small produce section and, of course, some amazing cheeses and a well stocked variety of seasoned, gourmet appetizers, stuffed olives, and things I can't pronunce but love to put in my mouth! They also have a ton of frozen foods also like homade meatballs, wedding soup and things like that. It's all fairly...
