Wonderful hike, really appreciate the crew that remarks the trail each year, as without the markings it is easy to get lost. Several places to camp, including the base, saddle, and summit, but if youâre looking for nighttime viewing, camping at the summit is the way to go.
Be sure to bring binoculars or a small telescope for the best view of Groom Lake. and I also would advise taking a 4 wheel drive vehicle, as parts of the road leading to the trailhead, Badger Valley Road, are impassable without one due to loose...
