Longhorn County Store — Local services in New Boston

I was in a desperate need for a restroom (too much coffee), & this place came up on Mapquest for closest restrooms. The public restroom was out of order, but the ladies were nice enough to let me use their employee restroom. The only thing one should be aware of, is that even if you get regular coffee, if you get a lid for your coffee, you will be charged for a cappuccino ($1.59). It is clearly marked that the lids are for cappucinos only, so I did expect an upcharge. No lids are available for the regular coffee though, & I'm driving in the car, so, I need a lid. Compared to having hot coffee on my bits & the kindness of letting me use their restroom, plus the general friendliness of the employees here right now (Tues. Morning, 8:12 A.M., 3/6/18), $1.59...

Great fish dinner on Fridays, the best around. Great 😃 people, they also make the best pizza. Did I mention Friday's is fish day. Hard to pass up a great plate of fried fish, beans cooked to perfection,Cole slaw outta this world, hush puppies, French fries made just right and tartar...

Excellent service, nicely kept store. Food is like being at gram's house. This is Small town American as it gets....
