This is for the New Braunfels Location. I live in San Antonio. I have a 2021 Mazda3 Turbo with a Bose system and I wanted to determine what I could do to improve the sound. The fist time I went, I was attended by Lucky and he took a look at my car's audio sound schematics in their computer system and he recommended that we first install a subwoofer and then I could asses if I needed more work done like replacing the Bose speakers and amplifier. Lucky mentioned that to replace the Bose system speakers and amplifier was going to be very costly. I appreciated his honesty. I went to visit a second time and Lucky took a look at my subwoofer box, subwoofer driver and at my JL Audio sub amp that I already had and he said that it can be done no problem and he gave me an estimate. A few days later, I called in to make an appointment for the installation and I was attended by Joel. He was courteous and I paid for the installation over the telephone and made an appointment. The day of the installation, I was attended by Shane, one of the owners, and he was also courteous. Shane has been in this business for over 20 years and he is an installer as as well. I believe the installation was done by Travis (20 years+ installation experience) and maybe Shane helped some. They did a great job on the work and you cannot tell that they worked on my car. During the installation, Travis found out that my subwoofer driver (Infinity) was damaged. They had several 12 inch subwoofers to select from and I selected an Audio Control SPK-12S4. They also installed and Audio Control line level to RCA level converter with a subwoofer volume control. With the subwoofer installed and configured, the sound of the Bose audio system improved tremendously, to the point that I do not need to replace the Bose speakers and amplifier. I highly recommend them for your car audio needs.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and repair efforts for an Alpine head unit with backup camera. I paid for a stereo upgrade for my father's Tacoma as a Christmas present and we had issues right away. The same day I picked up the truck from the New Braunfels location, we were having issues with USB connectivity. You could tell they didn't even bother testing the connections because you would've seen right away that there was an issue with the cable they used to connect to the rear of the head unit. Instead, the techs insisted that it was user error as if I don't know how to connect my phone to a stereo in 2024. I finally got them to pull the truck back into the bay and check everything and what do you know, bad cable. They put a new one and actually checked it this time before putting everything back together. The other issue is that the backup camera is intermittent at best and always seems to stop working at the most inopportune times. My father has taken the truck back already and they said they fixed it but the issues persist. We've called multiple times, spoke to a gentlemen named Joel, explained the situation, and every single time they say they'll call us back and then never return the call. After calling again, it's like they don't even remember talking to us and they forgot. This has happened multiple times. We even left a Yelp review with a video showing the issues but they had it taken down. After paying just over $1700 between parts and labor for the install, you think you would have quality work, but it appears that this is not the case. If you want clear communication and a quality install, I suggest looking elsewhere. This install was done over the Christmas holidays 2024 and here we are in September of 2025 now with no resolution.

1st I had subs installed they kept popping after the installation I went back took them 2 weeks to get my vehicle in to get it fixed later I purchased the Stinger Heigh 10 I was told they would get me scheduled ASAP when the unit comes in. It took 1 week for unit to come in and almost 2 months for them to get me in. After they installed it I left and noticed they did not install the Sirius XM attachment I paid for. The camera system was not hooked up properly. I took it back, and the tech kept using the word "finicky" to describe all the issues. I brought the vehicle back AGAIN and the camera system is still messed up. The radio presets keep disappearing and a few other issues because the tech hard wired it wrong. I called the Stinger customer support as soon as I described the issues he said the tech that did the install wired it wrong and advised if I took it back to have him call them and he would walk him step by step how to install correctly. I said no I will just pay someone who actually knows what they are doing he replied with that's probably best. Another issue I had is 1 of the appointments I had made to bring it back to fix mistakes the owner called and said he had a spur of the moment trip come up to Colorado that he couldn't pass up and rescheduled me. If I could get a full refund, I would. Very poor install wires left hanging out sound issues a lot of head ache in the end. I would not recommend these guys at all. You're better off going on YouTube and doing it yourself.

Hello sir/ma'am Really sorry to hear about your employee passing away it is always hard to lose someone we know and care about with that being said if you were under staffed maybe you should've just said there will be possible delay in service so that I as a paying customer can decide if to continue or go somewhere else.

Not sure which tech you had work on my vehicle but clearly 20 yrs of experience and still fell short of a satisfactory job. As I explained in my original post 4 months ago that you are just now responding to I had to take my vehicle back multiple times to be worked on because your tech with 20yrs experience kept having trouble getting it right. When I called the Stinger support they are the ones who said they don't know why they would've hard wired the camera system to the brake line that is not the proper way to install this system. The last visit I had at your shop the 1st thing I noticed was my camera system not working properly when I push the brake the camera should not activate as that can cause a serious distraction especially when the camera starts flickering on and off and did mention it to 1 of your workers who tried to tell me that is how the system operates so NO I was not happy when I left. As for your lifetime warranty you don't have to worry about me wanting to come back to get repairs I thought I made it pretty clear in my original post 4 months ago I took it to a different shop off of 3009 who also scratched their heads at the job yall did. If your company with techs who have 20 yrs experience would've done a good job I would've written a good review unfortunately my experience was not a good 1 and the multiple problems I had with the install were never able to get fixed completely at your shop. If I could put 0 stars I definitely would ! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a service center!! Very unprofessional , careless and overpriced First I wanted to install an alarm system with door lock actuators on my 00 Silverado (Something that is more than possible) So for starters I called over the phone and after agreeing on the services that would be done the owner immediately wanted a down payment for parts now that is understandable but wanting more than 50% of the money upfront is a bit unreasonable but I wanted the services and decided to put trust into a place and said why not During that phone call we scheduled an appointment for the truck to be brought in the following week I then received a phone call early the week of and was told the door parts were delayed due to carrier (ok fair enough) so we schedule it again for the following week I then drop the truck off for it’s appointment that they told me would take TWO DAYS ! I then called on the second day in the afternoon because I haven’t heard anything and just wanted to check in they then tell me that they hadn’t done anything because they “bought the wrong parts “ Thank you for not telling me this when I dropped the truck off or gave me a call all day yesterday ??? So I pick the truck up I talked to the owner again at that point expressing my frustration he offers to give me a discount for the inconvenience and told me he would give me a call when the parts were in I then decided to call later the next week and ask about the parts due to not being reached out to and his response was “oh yeah we got them” in but didn’t bother to call me ?? So I decide to continue to work with them so they then received the right parts and we schedule an appointment for the following week yet again I go drop off the truck the night before for everybody’s convenience and the next day in the afternoon I swing by in person to check on the progress and was just blown off and told it would be done tomorrow I then go to pick up the truck and nothing was ever done it seemed it was just moved around the parking lot I then received my keys and got the refund process going I was told within the next day or two I should recive it So I waited the 2 days and hadn’t revived anything so I decided to call my bank to see if anything was coming and was told no I then called and finally got ahold of the owner after many attempts because “he was out” and he admitted to not even starting the process He told me he started process and again should be 2 days I finally received my refund about a week later from that phone call I spoke to only the owner himself during this entire process and he was very unprofessional and had no curiosity to notify me about ANYTHING to do with my truck or parts during the entire process and seemed careless for my business.

I then chose to give another audio store in town with a similar name ;) and gave them a chance to get the job done They had the entire thing done within the day and were actually cheaper !! 10/10 would recommend if you know who I’m...

My husband had his stereo system installed here. After seeing and hearing his system, of course I had to get one installed in my vehicle as well. Along with the new radio head, they installed a remote start and alarm in my vehicle. I absolutely LOVE my new stereo. It's awesome!!!! It has a navigation system, ability to play DVD's (which is awesome when having to wait in the line for over an hour to pick up our son from school... it entertains our toddler), Sirius radio, Bluetooth that picks up my phone automatically starts to play music from my phone. Oh, and I have a remote control that goes to it! How cool is that, right?!?! On to my alarm... I have a key fob that lets me know when my doors are secure or not. I absolutely love the fact that I have an alarm now especially after never having one. I can't forget about my remote start!! Thank goodness for this invention!!! Everyone in Texas knows how hot is gets in the summer! Being able to start my car for 15 minutes from my key fob for it to cool off before getting in is awesome! It's going to be awesome being able to heat the car during the winter time as well.

I could go on and on about every detail and what I love about the work that was done to my car but I'm not. Just know Joel and his team are very professional and knowledgeable at their expertise. This shop has something a lot of shops don't and that's integrity! They will not try to overcharge or take advantage of their customers and I love that! They definitely aim to please each and every one of their customers. I've gone to the shop a few times for various things and each and every time I've gone, EVERYONE I've come into contact with has been sooooo nice, making me feel so comfortable... almost like a felling of being part of their family. I would totally recommend anyone take their vehicle here to get their stereo system, tint, alarms (and they also install those breath things for people with dui's) done. You will not be...
