It’s a horrible & sad situation to find yourself in when you lose a loved one suddenly and have to make these plans you didn’t think you’d have to do for quite some time still. We lost our mother who did not have insurance so we were concerned with ensuring we had enough to cover all associated costs for her funeral/burial. A few of us spoke to Martin, who was friendly, several times about all the costs for the burial site and time and time again we were told one overall total. When we were a couple of days out of the date of the burial, we went in to pay/sign contract and found additional administrative/processing fees added to the total price. When asked why we had not been informed of it, the response was “we add it to all charges over $500”. This still didn’t explain why we weren’t told about these additional charges given they know what we were to be charged so why not indicate these additional fees when we asked repeatedly for the overall total? At this point, what is one to do? Walk out and delay things? Not likely. We’re basically left with no other option but to pay these additional charges, especially when plans have already been made & told to others. This practice was/is shady and unethical considering the emotional state we were in and has left a bad taste in my mouth. Be sure to sign the contract well in advance so there are no additional surprises. The two stars are because the gravesite is...
Read moreDO NOT BURY YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! They don’t maintain properly, they pick and choose which grave to “pick on” and if they are picking on your loved one then they throw EVERYTHING AWAY CONSTANTLY!! Something will be approved then there’s a change in management and all of a sudden it’s not ok anymore and it’s constant!! Now after almost 4 years of this they have suddenly decided that the MILITARY headstone for my mother is no longer in compliance. Mind you there’s still no grass out there and they haven’t even leveled the dirt. Yes, it’s Texas and yes I know ants are everywhere but tell me why they don’t even bother to put poison out instead my mothers best friend keeps some in her truck to put out? I thought that was part of their responsibility when the internment rights were purchased, that’s what their rules and regulations state!
I could go on and on, but it’s not worth it. If you plan on memorializing your loved one for future visits save yourself the headache and find a decent place, this...
Read moreDaisy Benavides was wonderful to work with as we made family preparations. She has a soft loving touch during your time of grief plus gives you many options on what is available. Too bad the company is so new to the concept of using Niches as Reserved Spaces for Urns. Hopefully the company will soon have pictures & samples of various placks available for use on Outside of Niche. The office only had samples of Standard Coffin Burial Choices, Vaults & Name Placks. Would also help to have a Niche on Display with exact measurements as the real ones so families may get a much better idea of the space inside & depth of the reserved space. This has always been a beautiful resting place for our love ones and I'm sure it will always strive to continue to stay...
