The Sports Card Shop — Local services in New Buffalo Township

What a great store. What a very cool setup. Tons of wax. I would say more hobby boxes than retail. But still a great selection of retail. A bunch of memorabilia if your looking for something for the garage, bar or gift. Ton of singles, can spend a long time looking through em. Couple tables to break at if you want to open at the store. If your in the area this place is a must stop! Also had a little selection of matchbox cars. And a really good selection of pokemon. And a couple of arcade games. Go check it...

Knowing that this place is a work in progress, I'll give this 3 stars. There is still a good selection of cards to look through even tho they're not organized very well. From my experience there, I still didn't really care for the fact that the workers there didn't act much like they cared if they got my business, and I still think there's a much better way of pricing things than looking up the card on ebay. But hey, it's a work in progress and I'm sure they'll be going...

I stopped in briefly and was impressed with the selection. I wish I had more time to browse because the singles are not organized yet. Graded cards are not priced, so he looked up everything on the computer. The prices he gave were high when I compared them to recent solds on eBay (in the same grade). Over 2x higher for one card. I like supporting small businesses, but you need to be more reasonable...
